beginning in the middle…

Beginning in the middle…disjointed…fragmented…half veiled in darkness…that’s how I see the grouping of musical works I’m currently engaged in…at least that’s how I see it now. These pieces had their very conventional start 5 years ago as piano music. All of those recordings have been abandoned and work has begun anew. The continuing process of composing and putting these works together will follow a new approach to this blog or journal. I hope to include descriptions and photographs as well as sound examples…
